Mold Making
Custom Molds for Artists and Makers
Mold making is the critical step between sculpture and reproduction — and it’s never one-size-fits-all. I work with artists and clients to create molds that are functional, durable, and tailored to the unique form, scale, and purpose of each piece.
Whether your sculpture is simple or complex, small or large, I’ll select the materials and techniques best suited to capturing the detail and making the mold practical for casting or long-term use.

A Flexible, Results-Focused Approach
Every sculpture presents its own challenges — and solutions. My goal is to make a mold that works for you and your project. Whether the piece is being cast once or a hundred times, I focus on clean results and efficiency.
No Sculpture Too Simple or Too Complex
From small figurative pieces to large installations, I approach every mold with care and adaptability. If it can be sculpted, it can be molded — and I’ll find the best way to do it.
A Typical Mold Making Process
Initial Consultation ⇒ Reviewing the sculpture and determine the molds purpose
Assess & Plan ⇒
I evaluate scale, shape, undercuts, and intended casting method
Material Selection ⇒
Based on project goals, we choose the best material (e.g., silicone, plaster, resin)
Mold Construction ⇒
The mold is created using methods appropriate to the form — single-part/ multi-part.
Finishing & Handover
Once cured and tested, the mold is cleaned, labeled, and ready for casting
